from forbes to federal pittsburgh pirates blog

“‘From Forbes to Federal’ is more than just an alliteration; it represents the rich history of the Pittsburgh Pirates franchise. The Bucs collected three World Series titles while calling Forbes Field their home. They occupied Three Rivers Stadium from 1970 to 2000 before moving to the jewel on the North Shore, PNC Park. One of the best ballparks in America, PNC is located on Federal Street. The tradition of the franchise has been carried from Forbes to Federal.”

Back in December of 2011, we wrote, “The View From Section 134 is a blog started by two teenagers with a 20 game plan in section 134. We’ve been life long Pirate fans, and have always loved the Bucs through their worst years.  We will be sharing our experiences at PNC Park, and also blogging about our opinions on Pirates news.  We’ll each be writing our own posts, as well as working together on posts.”

We have since moved on, renaming the blog “From Forbes to Federal” on July 9th, 2012. For more information on our change, click HERE.
