Monday Morning Links 9/30/13

– The MLB playoffs are returning to the city of Pittsburgh.

– The Bucs want you wearing black at PNC Park tomorrow night.

– There’s a Pirates rally planned for noon today in Market Square downtown.

– Gerrit Cole will be available to pitch Tuesday night, though Clint Hurdle would rather not use him (obviously).

– The Bucs will go as far as their pitching takes them in the postseason.

– Winner of Pirates-Reds will face the Cardinals in the NLDS.

  1. Props to From Forbes to Federal for getting the word out about the Bucco Blackout. Other local blogs I’ve checked haven’t mentioned it yet (and I haven’t had time to check Twitter). Was already planning to wear mostly black, anyway – that’s my Pirates cool-weather wardrobe color – but I’ll be sure to wear black top-to-bottom. Now gotta find what my husband has in his closet . . .
Still trying to decide if I’m feeling more excited or nervous about Tues night – guess I’m really feeling both emotions simultaneously.
Thanks again for helping to make this a tremendous season – the info and insight in your blog has been priceless.
